Today's recipe is a special breakfast dish to whip up for your Valentine. I titled it Heart Attack on a Plate because it's high in calories, loaded with fat and should only be eaten on special occasions unless you actually want to develop heart disease. Bread is cut into the shape of hearts, dipped in egg and fried in bacon fat. The bread slices that have the hearts cut out of are then cooked in the bacon fat as well and a whole egg is fried in the center of the toast. This tasty dish is topped with jam, syrup and cinnamon sugar for a sweet and savory treat for your loved one. Put on your stretchy pants and head to the kitchen with me to make this Heart Attack on a Plate Valentine's Day Breakfast. Heart Attack on a PlateHey Gnomies, We are making one of the most unhealthy, artery clogged meals I have come up with on my blog today. I'm technically on a diet (not that that has ever stopped me from indulging in treats) so I only tried a few bites. My husband on the other hand loves this breakfast meal and gives it two big thumbs up. A heart attack on a plate is a slang term for a very unhealthy meal. Urban Dictionary defines it as: “An especially unhealthy meal, typically one that is high in saturated fat.” You may also like: Red Wine Hot Chocolate Ingredients you may need for a Heart Attack on a Plate:

I prefer to use a cast iron skillet. Once the bacon is cooked to perfection, set it aside- but don't drain the pan. You will use the bacon fat to fry the rest of the ingredients. You may also like: Thin Crust Sweet Chili Pizza Next, you will cut heart shapes out of the bread. Do you have to cut a heart shape? Of course not, you can do any shape you like but this is a Valentine's day post so I did hearts. Dip the bread hearts in a mixture of egg and milk and fry them in the bacon fat. Set aside to cool and top with strawberry jelly. Finally, take the remainder of the bread slices with heart-centers removed and dip them into the egg batter. You are making a french-toast-style Toad in the Hole. Be careful not to rip the bread, as it is delicate. Fry them on the pan and crack an egg into the center of each of them. Flip and fry until the egg is cooked. Assemble everything on a plate and add syrup and cinnamon sugar on top. Enjoy and make sure you clear the rest of your schedule for the day as you may fall into a food coma. What is a “Toad in the Hole” and where does the name come from?A Toad in the Hole in America and England are totally different breakfast dishes. The English classic Toad in the Hole is sausage links baked in a Yorkshire pudding like flour egg batter served with onion, gravy and vegetables. In North America it is a piece of bread with the middle cut out, toasted in a pan with an egg fried in the center of. In this recipe I made the American version, but with a twist- I dipped the toast in egg batter before frying with the egg in the center. Dishes like toad in the hole appeared in print as early as 1762, where it was described as a 'vulgar' name for a small piece of beef baked in a large pudding. You may also like: Bacon wrapped burger with pineapple Toad in the hole was originally created as a way to stretch out meat in poor households. Chefs therefore suggested using the cheapest meats in this dish. Despite popular belief, there is no record of the dish ever being made with toad. The origin of the name is unclear, but it may refer to the way toads wait for their prey in their burrows, making their heads visible in the earth, just like the sausages peep through the batter. Remember, if you like this recipe please rate it 5 stars! Bon Appetit! Hello there!
Today myself, and a few other creative bloggers have put together for you some free printables to help you get and stay organized. I myself happen to love labeling everything I can get my hands on. One of my favorite things to do is print out pretty labels on sticker paper, which you can find right here. Sticker paper can be used for a variety of things, but today we are making labels! All you need to do is save the images below to your computer and then print them out. Cut out the ones you want to use and then simply peel off the backing and they are ready to use. I made a wide variety and tried to cover most items I thought would need a label in your home. I used mine on these glass jars. I like being able to also see what is inside the containers, which is why I like the clear glass. Here is an example of how I used mine to store extra items in our laundry room. If you are like me and love to organize, please visit my friends below to see more fun ideas. xoxo QUIZ: 9 Alcohol Cheats in Animation

![]() But times have been changing for a while. Nowadays, it's very rare that you'll see any alcohol references in children's animation. BUT! When they weren't allowed to show alcohol, writers and animators have cleverly tried to cheat the filters by simply replacing it with something else, so they could still show comical drunkenness, bar scenes, or savage hangovers. Let's see if you can guess which “kid-friendly” substitutes these cartoons used. Even if you completely strike out on all 9, it's pretty interesting! The world is already teaching them more than you know. – Thanks to Responsibiliy.org for sponsoring this post. Working with them has opened my eyes much wider to the importance of parents consciously working to stay engaged with their kids, and not just about school or Pokémon or the latest Pixar movie, but especially to have meaningful conversations about often overlooked topics like responsible drinking. As well as all the obvious bigger life stuff they'll need to have a good head on their shoulders about. Like wearing socks and sandals. Ugh. Whenever I told people that I would be traveling to Scotland last year, the first thing many of them said was “You're going to love Edinburgh”. Well guess what? They were all right. I've saved the best of our British Isles Cruise for last. Full of beautiful shops, innovative restaurants, tons of culture, and – of course – loads of history, this city should absolutely be topping your list of places to go in 2019. It's as charming as it is modern and packed with character. And, I have to say, I was pretty impressed with the ground that we covered in a single day! So here's your Edinburgh City Guide. You can use it for a quick 24-hour trip, or take each neighborhood on its own! Enjoy! Like many cities, Edinburgh has its little pockets of neighborhoods that stretch over a few blocks and offer some charming local boutiques, coffee shops, restaurants, and small galleries. We decided that our agenda for the day would be to pop from one neighborhood to the next, wandering in-between to see what we would stumble on! We started off by heading to Broughton. TO DO: Shop : Narcissus Flower Shop, Curiouser & Curiouser, Life Story Sips & Eats : Artisan Roast, Söderburg Bakery, Fhior From here, we hung a left on London St. and headed towards a little corner that featured a bakery everyone kept telling us about… The Archipelago Bakery was adorable – and packed. Luckily we weren't quite hungry enough for another bite, so we popped in next door to Epitome, and I dare say this was one of the best shops we discovered on our entire trip. There were also quite a few little antique stores in this area! I was tempted to pop in, but we had so much to do, we decided to keep going towards our next neighborhood stop: Stockbridge. You may not be familiar with this neighborhood, but you've no doubt seen photos of its most instagram-worthy Circus Lane. This adorable mews is one of those you dream of working or living in. I noticed that many of the buildings were actually small offices, so now I'm basically dreaming of having a studio here because this neighborhood was by far my favorite. TO DO: Shop: Bon Tot, Jessica Buckley, Golden Hare Bookshop Eat: The Pantry, Smith & Gertrude See: Circus Lane, Stockbridge Market As we headed towards the river, we were lucky enough to spot this little restaurant, Smith & Gertrude. One swift look at the menu, and we knew it was our spot! We settled in for some wine tasting and snacks that would help get us through the afternoon. We ordered a wine & cheese pairing and it was soooooo good. We also got quite a few little small bites. I loved that the restaurant was situated right by the river in the most charming, quiet little spot. Refreshed from a little break from walking, we were ready for a stroll down the Water of Leith towards the most enchanting little area in Edinburgh – Dean Village. The walk to get there was just as lovely as the destination itself, as you wind along the riverfront before arriving upon these stone houses dating back to the 17th Century. Doesn't it look like something out of a fairytale!? Just beyond the village is are the Modern Art Museums (Modern One and Modern Two), and I was incredibly bummed that we didn't have time to check them out, but it was time for more sightseeing! On our way to Princes Street, we stopped for a quick pick-me-up at Cairngorm Coffee, then headed to an area known as Edinburgh Old Town… It's not hard to guess what you'll find in the 'old town' neighborhood. Here, Edinburgh Castle looks over the city and is surrounded by extensive grounds. We wandered quickly through the Princes Street Gardens which were both spooky and lovely with old graves and the castle towering over. If you feel so inclined, from here you can walk the Royal Mile, which goes from the Edinburgh Castle up to Parliament. There are also tons of museums and other historical sites to explore! We didn't have time for them all, so we popped into the National Museum of Scotland to enjoy this view. TO DO: See: Edinburgh Castle, Princes Street Gardens, Scottish National Gallery, National Museum of Scotland Eat: Timberyard Restaurant, Lovecrumbs Bakery, The fact that we managed to cover so much ground in one day is a testament to how walkable this city is! But with so many charming spots to linger in, I honestly can't wait to go back and really immerse myself a bit more in Edinburgh and all it has to offer. Next time, I'm sure I'll be hitting up many more galleries and indulging in some evening dining! Have you been to this fantastic city? I'd love to hear what your favorites are! ![]() Falling Objects What if a meteorite or airplane parts fall from the sky and land on my vehicle?!?What should I do if a sheet of ice and snow comes off of another vehicle on the highway and hits my car causing damage?!?Our Massachusetts Auto policy tells us that there IS coverage under Comprehensive Coverage (Part 9), for losses caused by falling objects. What this means…Comprehensive Coverage is coverage for events other than collision. Events that are out of your control…
And last, but certainly not least in our case, here in New England:
![]() Falling Objects
If you carry Comprehensive Coverage (Part 9) on your policy, then you DO HAVE COVERAGE if your vehicle is ever struck by a falling object (After your Comprehensive deductible is applied). If your car is struck by an object that came off of another automobile, do your best to get their information. If subrogation and recovery of your deductible is possible, it is vital to have the plate number of the other car! Otherwise, there is no way for the insurance company to recover your deductible and you will end up responsible for the entire cost $$ of the repair! Do you have additional questions?
